Strategic Housing Partnership
Wirral Strategic Housing Partnership is the thematic partnership responsible for delivering the “High Quality Homes; High Quality Housing Services” theme within the Community Strategy. It’s “Sector Champion” is Brian Simpson of Wirral Partnership Homes and has members from all housing-related organisations across Wirral. Community representatives are also involved in the Partnership and its related sub-groups.
The aim of the Strategic Housing Partnership (SHP) is to ensure that a wide range of high quality housing is available across all sectors of the housing market for Wirral people which is secure, affordable, of the highest standards and meets the varying and changing needs and aspirations of all our residents throughout their lives. This will be done by:
• Delivering quality and choice in the housing markets of Wirral
• Creating safe and sustainable neighbourhoods throughout Wirral
• Meeting the needs of vulnerable people and reduce inequalities.
