Black Minority Racial (BME) Housing Support Service
Vision Statement:
“To ensure improved housing support and greater choice for all the BME Community across Wirral. Better support for better lives. Clear focus on needs, choice and quality of provision that is integrated to other strategies. The long term aim is to enable individuals to access services for themselves, as and when needed”
Background:
From the work carried out by consultants, and further audit undertaken by Supporting People, together with representatives of local BME (Black Minority Racial) communities, certain issues regarding access to services have been identified. As a consequence, 3 BME Support Workers have been appointed to assist the BME communities in accessing services.
