Welcome To Wirral

Have your say

Local Agenda 21 requires the Council to work in partnership with the people of Wirral to draw up an action plan.

If our work is to be as effective as possible, we need to share ideas with you and work together.

Wirral's Local Agenda 21 plan will only work if we:

  • give as many people as possible a chance to have their say, both about the problems in their area, and ways to create a better future
  • come up with practical projects - schemes which improve quality of life, like training programmes for young people or easy-to-use recycling initiatives. We will also help you play your part in improving your own communities and environments.
  • all agree to change the way we've always done things - like using public transport more instead of the car, and recycling rubbish instead of throwing it in the bin.

We'll also be holding information sessions for you on subjects such as waste, water and saving energy. Look out for them - whenever you see these advertised, please come along - it's vital we get as many of you 'on board' as possible. Your views will guide which priorities we set for the next few years.
