Your green wheelie bin is for all that rubbish you cannot recycle. Any rubbish you put in your green wheelie bin will be sent straight to landfill and buried.
All garden waste or paper and packaging should go in your other wheelie bins. Check your collection day for further information on both your grey and brown bins.
Please place your bin out by 7am on the day of your collection in a safe place on the kerbside.
It is important to wrap certain items tightly when disposing of them in your green wheelie bin. Food waste, nappies and other rotting waste area all examples. Tightly bag this waste and put in your green bin. If you bin is damaged call us and we will repair it, that could be a small crack to a missing lid.

It is really important that we only throw away rubbish which cannot be used again or that can’t be recycled. Try and think about what you do throw away. Could someone else use it?
