It has never been easier to recycle your waste. We all should be doing something to help protect and improve our environment.
We have no choice but to stop sending so much rubbish to landfill. Landfill is a great big hole in the ground which we fill with our rubbish. The problem is, our landfill sites are becoming full and we are running out of space.
Did you know that every year the average dustbin contains enough unused energy for 500 baths or 5,000 hours of television or 3,500 showers - what a waste! Much of our rubbish can be recycled and it is not as hard as you think - in fact it is really easy!
