Beaches marked with an asterisk (*) are designated and sampled by the Environment Agency. All other beaches are designated and sampled by Wirral Borough Council's Pollution Control Section. The numbers correspond with the numbers marked on the map below.

3. Leasowe Bay
4. Moreton Sea Wall, Pasture Road, Moreton *
5. Dovepoint Steps, Meols *
6. Red Rocks, Hoylake
7. West Kirby Main Beach, South Parade * and West Kirby Marine Lake
8. Thurstaston Beach, near Dee Sailing Club
