Pollution Control samples water quality 20 times a year (from May to September) at Fort Perch Rock (New Brighton), Leasowe Bay, Red Rocks (Hoylake), West Kirby Marine Lake and Thurstaston Beach. The Environment Agency samples water quality 20 times a year (from May to September) at Wallasey Beach (Wallasey Village), Moreton Sea Wall (Pasture Road), Dove Point (Meols) and West Kirby Main Beach.
