Town Centres, Retail and Leisure Development Plan Document
The preparation of the Town Centres, Retail & Leisure DPD will not begin until the preferred options for the Core Strategy have been published. The expected start date for the Town Centres, Retail and Leisure Allocations DPD is March 2008.
The Town Centres, Retail & Leisure DPD must be submitted to the Secretary of State for independent public examination.
The above link will take you to the timetable for the preparation of the Town Centres, Retail & Leisure DPD from the Local Development Scheme approved by the Secretary of State in April 2007.

A town centres, retail and leisure study will be commissioned during 2007. The
final results are not expected to be available until early 2008.
The target date for the adoption of the Town Centres, Retail & Leisure DPD
is March 2011.
