Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme sets out the Council's programme for the production of Local Development Documents. The content of the Scheme must be agreed by the Secretary of State before it can be brought into force.
The latest Scheme for Wirral was approved on 24 April 2007 and was
brought into force from 23 July 2007.

The Local Development Scheme is subject to annual review following the
submission of the Council's Annual Monitoring Report to the Secretary of State
in December each year.
