Continental Landscapes were appointed in April 2003 to provide grass cutting/weed spraying services on behalf of the Council. Our highway inspectors monitor the performance of the contractor throughout the year.
The contractor is required to cut the grass a minimum of 15 times per year through the growing season. This equates to approximately once every two weeks, however it is weather dependent. The contractor is required to spray the weeds on the highway 3 times per year using an approved glysophate based pesticide for use in public areas.
