Dog Warden Service
Wirral's Dog Warden Service can help you locate lost pets, report found pets to try and reunite them with their owners, or can re-home pets who are unclaimed.

If you would like to reclaim your dog, there is an associated cost of £55.
If you would like to offer a home to a dog, there is a fee of £55.

For Stray dogs found outside normal opening hours, i.e. Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays, please phone be 0151 666 5265, where a duty Officer while be arranged to meet you at the Council Kennels, Corporation Road, Birkenhead, to kennel the dog.
If you are unable to transport the dog to the kennels you are requested to hold it until the following working morning and the phone the Kennels office to arrange for a Warden to collect the dog.
