Welcome To Wirral
SENAAT - Special Educational Needs Advisory and Assessment Team
SENAAT is a delegated service; each school has an amount of money to buy in expertise concerning children and young people in mainstream schools with learning difficulties.
The Team
- comprises well qualified and very experienced specialist SEN teachers
- can help school to meet their responsibilities under the SEN Code of Practice
- keeps up to date with local and national initiatives and good practice in SEN
- is able to offer a wide range of assessments for individual pupils and advice on meeting their needs
- offers central and school-based training and run SENCO Cluster Groups.
