Behaviour Support Manager
The role of the Behaviour Support Manager includes:
- implementation of the Behaviour Support Plan.
- conducting audits to determine a strategic response to developing systems to promote positive behaviour within the whole school community.
- support for development of Behaviour Policy/Behaviour Management systems and proactive ways to promote positive behaviour.
- observation and advice on classroom strategies.
- a range of training programmes which include emotional literacy; nurturing approaches; circle time; teaching social, emotional and behavioural skills; behaviour management strategies; and behaviour management systems.
She also runs:
- Family Works Project
An eight-ten week programme for parents. This programme is designed to work proactively in partnership with parents to promote the social, emotional and behavioural skills that children need to feel happy and be successful in school. Parents have an option to gain an accredited qualification.
