School Admissions Service

The School Admissions Service provides a vital service to parents, their children and schools. Their work encompases co-ordinated admissions to primary and to secondary schools and procedures concerning exclusions.

Their aim is to manage the Authority's admissions procedures successfully whilst maintaining compliance with both DfES Regulations and Code of Practice and Council Policies.

They endeavour to be both helpful and professional in their dealings with parents and are constantly striving to improve the service.
