Welcome To Wirral

Governors - An Introduction

By law every school must have a governing body. Wirral has 135 schools and over 2000 school governors. Governing bodies are made up of volunteers from all walks of life who bring a range of expertise, enthusiasm, energy and many other useful skills to their schools. Governors have the opportunity to develop new skills, build on existing ones and work as part of a team.
