Welcome To Wirral

Pupils from Greasby Junior School researched the local area as part of their work for the Wirral Civic Award Scheme. Their projects, along with information about themselves, was exchanged with pupils from the Johann-Textor School in Haiger, Germany, who were working towards achieving the preliminary level of the scheme.

Brenda Thompson, co-ordinator of the scheme, travelled to Germany to present their awards at a ceremony attended by staff and parents of the school and representatives of the local council and education department.
