Welcome To Wirral

Complaints System

The Council's aim is to provide you with the best possible services. We genuinely welcome complaints, comments and compliments. It is helpful to know when we are doing something well, but it is also very important that we know about any problems. If you tell us what is going wrong, that gives us the opportunity to put it right and to make sure that our systems are improved.

There are three stages to our corporate complaints procedure. If you are not happy with the service you have received you should make a formal complaint to the Council.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Council's own complaints investigation you can get a form from any Information Office to refer your complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman.

  • Have we got it right?
  • How can we improve?

If you would like to comment on a service you have received from the Council please give us details so that we can either provide more of the service you like or improve our services to you.
