Complaints about Social Services
Complaints relating to Social Services, either Adult or Children's Services are governed by specific legislation, and therefore do not fall under the Council's Complaint Procedure.
Complaints about Adults Social Services
If you wish to make a complaint about adult social services, you can do so by following the information on the adult social services' Complaints, comments and compliments pages.
Complaints about Children and Young People's Social Services
If you wish to make a complaint about social services for children and young people, you can do so by
- emailing us on cypdcomplaints@wirral.gov.uk
- phoning on 666 5677, or - if you are a looked after child - on 666 4340
- writing to us at the Customer Resolution and Information Team, Hamilton Building, Conway Street, Birkenhead, CH41 4FD
Complaints about services not run by the Council (such as independent residential homes, day care provision and home care agencies) should be dealt with through the providers' own complaints procedures.
