Welcome To Wirral
Consultations
Wirral Council takes its obligation to consult with all service users in Wirral very seriously. We listen to what you think about our services so that we know what needs to be improved and what you are happy with.
How do we consult?
We use a number of different methods of consultation. These include both small and large scale surveys, forums, focus groups and market research. Our area forums are now well established, and include regular presentations from service providers and other partners. The Council also convenes special meetings when required to discuss specific local issues - such as regeneration proposals, issues of local concern, etc.
Who do we consult with?
We consult with residents, specific service users, businesses, user groups (such as disabled people or ethnic minority groups), local area groups, individual local communities or various third party and representative bodies. Greater diversity across the range of groups we consult with means that we can gather more information to help influence our decisions and developments more appropriately.
