Memorials safety
Memorials in Wirral Council cemeteries are often tested to ensure that they meet current safety standards.
Those memorials found to be unsafe will be secured on a temporary basis to enable the grave owner to arrange a proper repair.
That repair work can only be undertaken by a memorial mason currently registered with Wirral Council’s Memorial Mason Registration Scheme.
