Copies of Birth, Marriage and Death certificates are available from the register office.

We only hold records of births, marriages and deaths (from 1837 to the present day) that took place in this district. Some indexes are also available at the Cheshire Births, Marriages and Deaths website.

If the event took place in another area then you must contact the local office.

Cost

Copies of marriage and death certificates cost £7.00

Birth certificates are either:

• Short copy which shows the person's name, and date and place of birth - £5.50
• Full copy which shows the above details as well as their parents details - £7.00
