‘It’s Your Call’ is a Wirral-based telephone actionline for reporting anti-social behaviour.
All complaints are logged and callers will be signposted to the agencies that can deal with their complaint most effectively. The information logged will be used to identify hot-spots and any issues that need prompt attention. All complaints will be treated in confidence by the agencies involved.
‘It’s Your Call’ is operated through the Council’s Corporate Call Centre. This actionline currently operates from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. An answer phone service is provided out-of-hours and calls will be returned the next working day.
The service is also available through One-Stop Shops across the Borough.
Callers requiring an urgent response should contact Merseyside Police.
All callers to ‘It’s Your Call’ will receive a comprehensive Self-Help Guide providing further detailed guidance on where to report each type of anti-social behaviour and powers that the relevant agencies have in dealing with such issues.
‘It’s Your Call’ is a Home Office initiative launched in Wirral on 19 September 2005 as part of the TOGETHER campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour.
