Children's Information Service
Wirral Children’s Information maintains the most accurate database on childcare provision across Wirral, covering childminding, pre-school playgroups, day nurseries, after school clubs and holiday schemes.
It also holds information on informal childcare such as parent/ carer and toddler groups. Callers to the service will receive a written report on the availability of childcare to suit their purposes, tailored to their individual requirements, as well as other written materials to assist in making the right choice for their child.
Anyone wishing to set up a childcare business is also advised to call the Children’s’ Information Service for advice on procedures and also to receive information on the range of support available from Wirral SureStart Support team.
