Wirral Council's Housing Benefit Service - Working in Partnership with Local Landlords
Our Housing Benefit/Private Landlord Service Level Agreement can now be viewed in the related links section.
This agreement, which is not legally binding, was signed by representatives of Wirral's Housing Benefit Landlord Focus Group on 16 June 2005, on behalf of the landlords of Wirral. The agreement contains, amongst other things, useful tips on how landlords can help to ensure that their tenant's Housing Benefit claims are processed as quickly as possible, information on how to contact the Housing Benefit Office and details of targets that the Housing Benefit Service is required to meet. The agreement will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of local landlords. If you have any comments to make about the contents of the agreement then please email them to us at housingbenefits@wirral.gov.uk
