Via Road
Before you travel to the Hamilton Building, please consider if you really need to use your car. Visitors may use the pay and display public car parks that are available adjacent to the buildings:
Via M53 from North Wales/ Chester/ Ellesmere Port
Leave the M53 at junction 1, at the roundabout turn right onto the A554 Bidston Link Road and follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles. At the roundabout turn left onto the A553 Hoylake Road and continue for 0.9 miles. At St James Road roundabout continue onto A553 Laird Street for 0.7 miles. At the traffic light junction Laird Street becomes A553 Park Road North. Continue past Birkenhead Park on the right hand side. At the junction with Park Road East, Park Road North becomes A553 Conway Street. The Hamilton Building is 0.3 miles on the right.
Via Wallasey (Kingsway) Tunnel
After leaving the tollbooth, take slip road immediately on left of motorway sign posted to Birkenhead. At roundabout turn sharp left following signs to Birkenhead, go through the traffic lights at the junction of Dock Road/ Duke Street and proceed to the Park Road North junction approximately 0.6 miles. Turn left and continue along Conway Street, go through the traffic lights and the Hamilton Buildings are 0.6 miles on the right.
Via Cycle
Accompanied cycles can be carried on all trains, subject to space being available (there may be restrictions at peak times). If arriving from Liverpool, Chester and Ellesmere Port at Hamilton Square Station on leaving the station turn right onto Hamilton Street and take the first right along Hamilton Square proceeding through the signalised junction into Cleveland Street. Take the second left onto Lord Street/ Adelphi Street, turn right at the signalised junction onto Conway Street and the Hamilton Building is approximately 0.2 miles on the left. There are 17 staff cycle-rack-parking spaces, and 3 secure caged cycle parking units. There are changing/ shower facilities for staff use only. There are currently no dedicated motorcycle parking facilities at this site.
Via Rail
The nearest railway station to the Hamilton Building is Conway Park which under 0.2 miles away. Direct rail links from Liverpool, New Brighton and West Kirby serve this station every 15 minutes. From Conway Park Station walk along Europa Boulevard, turn right onto Conway Street and the Hamilton Building is on the opposite side of the street. For rail services from Chester and Ellesmere Port it is necessary to change trains at Hamilton Square.
Via Bus
The Hamilton Building is less than 0.2 miles from Birkenhead Bus Station, which is served by approximately 63 bus routes. From the bus station turn left onto Conway Street and the Hamilton Building is on the left.
