Via Road

Before you travel to the Town Hall, please consider if you really need to use your car. Visitors may use the public car parks, including 2 disabled parking bays outside of the Town Hall main entrance, that are available adjacent to the buildings:

Via M53 from North Wales/ Chester/ Ellesmere Port

Leave M53 at junction 4, follow B5137, Brimstage Road (to Bebington) for approximately ¾ mile to the first set of traffic lights and turn left into Church Road. Follow Church Road for approximately ½ mile into The Village, drive through The Village and turn left into Civic Way. Bebington Town Hall is on the right of Civic Way.

Via A41 from Birkenhead

Leave the A41, turning into Port Sunlight Village at Bolton Road. At the end of Bolton Road, continue straight on through the junction into Ellen's Lane under the railway bridge. Turn first right into Bromborough Road, and at the junction with The Village, bear right and then turn first left into Civic Way. Bebington Town Hall is on the right of Civic Way.

Via Cycle

Accompanied cycles can be carried on all trains, subject to space being available (there may be restrictions at peak times), from Liverpool, Chester and Ellesmere Port to Bebington/ Port Sunlight Stations. On leaving the stations proceed to the Town Hall as in a) above. There are two Sheffield cycle parking stands and two enclosed cycle storage units outside of the Town Hall main entrance, there are two Sheffield cycle parking stands and three enclosed cycle storage units outside of the Town Hall Annex entrance, and there are two Sheffield cycle parking stands by the Civic Centre/ Library entrance. Long-stay visitors will need to pre-book the more secure cycle parking facilities. There are currently no dedicated motorcycle parking facilities at this site. There are shower/ changing facilities for staff use only.

Via Rail

Trains operate from Liverpool Lime Street mainline station and other city centre stations, including Hamilton Square Station (where 15 minute services from New Brighton and West Kirby connect) (every 15 minutes), from Chester (every 30 minutes) and from Ellesmere Port (every 30 minutes), to Bebington Station and Port Sunlight Station on the Wirral Line. From Bebington Station, turn right into Old Chester Road and cross over it at the traffic signalled junction onto Bebington Road. Proceed up the hill continuing along The Village until you reach the mini-roundabout approximately ½ mile. Walk to the Rose and Crown public house use the zebra crossing over The Village, and the Town Hall is in front of you off Civic Way. From Port Sunlight Station, turn left into Greendale Road and walk until you come to the junction with Ellens Lane/ Bolton Road. Turn left onto Ellen's Lane, go under the railway bridge and turn first right into Bromborough Road. At the junction with The Village, bear right and walk to the One Stop Shop, use the zebra crossing over The Village, and the Town Hall is in front of you on the right of Civic Way.

Via Bus

From Birkenhead Bus Station (serviced by 63 bus routes) you can catch 7 bus services that pass the Town Hall, these being the 410 (mobility vehicles) service (New Brighton - Clatterbridge Hospital), the 38 service (West Kirby - Poulton Lancelyn), the 487 service (Parkgate – Liverpool), and the 119/ 419 service (New Brighton/ Birkenhead - Mill Park) (although this is quite a circuitous route), that stop at The Village adjacent to the One Stop Shop. In addition, the 464/ 465 service (New Ferry - Liverpool), and the 117 service (Leasowe – Clatterbridge Hospital) stop at the bottom of Borough Road near the junction with The Village. Use the zebra crossing over The Village and the Town Hall is in front of you on the right of Civic Way.
